April, 2024: NAPEN members shine at COPA (Congresso Paulista de Anestesiologia), one of the world’s busiest anesthesia meetings! Collaborating with colleagues from Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, we led Pediatric POCUS & Medication Safety workshops. On April 27, it was all about pediatric anesthesia lectures, featuring Dr. Zipporah Gathuya from University of Nairobi, Kenya, & Dr. Faye Evans from Boston Children’s Hospital, USA, highlighting the power of collaboration, especially in LMIC, to enhance education & research in pediatric anesthesia.
